16' Transom Update PIctures

Just in - another mystery canoe. This one is 16' 2" LOA, 14" deep, 32 3/4 midships with a 15" transom. Ribs are 2' - 2 1/4" spaced (mostly) at 2" throughout. The serial number on the stern stem is 1751. The deck has a very faint trace of colour and suggests a Canadian Canoe Co. decal.
Any ideas??

PS I hope the lovely painting on the canvas doesn't throw anyone off - perhaps I will post another picture or 2 after it's gone!
