Factory Decals...

At what point do you adhere the Old Town sticker to the bow deck? Between coats of varnish? After all varnish? before all varnish?

For that matter, the striping and decals on the sides too. In normal paint applications they would go on after the paint and before the clear coat...

Thoughts?

I'm sure there are as many answers to this as there are members...my per sonal choice is to get a couple thin coats of varnish on the boat then apply the decal with a couple finish coats on top. This is especially true with the water-slip decals. The thicker vinyl decals tend to be on top of everything but then they are not protected from scratches.

I'm sure others will chime in on this.
