pricing a 1913 Carlton

I have a friend of a friend (no really) that has a 1913/1914 Carlton that he is going to sell. But we would like an idea of what price to ask for. Any suggestions. He has already rejected my offer of an even trade for a plastic canoe.

The web classifieds here at http://classifieds.wcha.org/ are another good way to estimate the value of a canoe. Another Carleton is currently listed there at http://classifieds.wcha.org/index.cgi?search_and_display_db_button=on&db_id=163&query=retrieval in much better condition for $1200.
